- Job Title: Procurement Manager/ Sales Manager
- Experience Required: 03 to 10 Years
- Job Summery: Looking for a candidate with minimum 3 years of experience for the position of Procurement Manager
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Create and implement regional procurement strategies that are innovative, cost-effective, and incorporate the frowing complexities and challenges within industry.
- Build long-term relationships with vendors in the industry.
- Compare proposals for price and specifications
- Negotiate with vendors to reduce costs.
- Review contract specifications on behalf of the company.
- Communicate with vendors to ensure that the product arrives in a timely fashion.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with critical suppliers.
- Build Database and create a Vendor Bank for each Product.
- Manage technological systems that track the shipment, inventory and supply of materials.
- Lead transformation activities to build procurement organizational capabilities and improve procurement efficiency.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly procurement reports.
- Ensure adherence to all safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations.
- Keep abreast of changing industry trends.
- Liaises with key company employees to determine their product and service needs.
- Monitors business trends and product avalibility to pay the best price for company goods and services without sacrificing quality or delivery times.
- Nurtures relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for company.
- Identifies and researches potential new suppliers.
- Researches new products and services to meet company’s goals.
- Assesses total costs of company purchases.
- Develops and implements strategies for procuring, storing, and distributing goods or services and maintaining stock levels.
- Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries.
